We’re a family owned and operated business that’s been going for over 50 years. Currently managed by the third generation of the Leabourn family, our team is firmly focused on providing safe transport for our customers and communities.
Leabourn originated as a school bus operator based in Kaiwaka, and over the decades our fleet has expanded to include over 100 vehicles servicing the school, charter and tour industries all over Auckland and Northland. On top of our charters and tours we also have a range of rental vehicles available to hire, and we can arrange private hire shuttles and airport transfers on request. We’ve got everything from luxury cars to 53-seat coaches so no matter the size of your group we’ll have something to fit your needs.

School transport is at the heart of our business and we provide school charters for school trips. We continue to provide regular school buses on set routes in the Kaiwaka area, which is a service we have provided since we started.

If you have a smaller group, or are after a more intimate service, we also offer taxis and shuttles. We pride ourselves on our flexibility and the ability to provide an option for any sized group – we believe no job is too big or small.

For over 15 years Leabourns have been transporting us on our regular Sunday walking trips around the Auckland region and long weekends away. Our regular drivers over the years (first Rangiora, then Joe and Okie) have become part of our club “family” and we appreciate having drivers who are familiar with the roads, whether it’s a local trip or further away to Rotorua or the Coromandel.
